Common Questions
WordPress core, plugins, and themes all receive updates over time. These are often to add new features but some updates fix functionality or security bugs. Keeping your site up to date and making sure it’s tuned for optimal performance is essential to keep your site ranking well and running fast.
Website backups are taken at the web hosting level and also stored offsite using a separate backup solution. Your sites will have redundant storage in the event of a major outage or other platform level problem.
While we can work with any hosting you have, maintenance plans do not include support for server administration or dev-ops work. If this is something you need, just contact us to discuss possible options.
Absolutely. We often take over sites built by other agencies or freelancers. When we take on your site, we’ll do a series of initial audits and checks to learn about your site and get it set up for success under our care.
We do not provide 24/7 monitoring or response time guarantees for website incidents. We typically respond to urgent client requests in 1-2 hours or less during business hours.
Custom requests are minor changes to content, plugin or settings tweaks, or similar low-complexity changes you’d like our team to perform for you. Development requests are higher-complexity requests where custom code is being written, such as integrations with other services or new website features.
